Full-Time Residential

An early-career degree designed to equip emerging policy leaders with the skills and knowledge to shape and implement policy while allowing the flexibility to customize their education to serve their needs and interests.

Master of International Development Policy

Full-Time Residential

A degree designed for mid-career professionals from around the world who want to elevate their impact by gaining the analytical tools and technical expertise needed to drive change and become global leaders in sustainable development efforts.

Applications for fall 2026 remain open with rolling admission through July 1.

Master of Public Affairs

Hybrid

A hybrid degree that allows students to work full-time, thanks to online classes and in-person residencies, both on Duke’s main campus and in Washington D.C., while advancing careers, deepening leadership skills, and providing unparalleled networking opportunities.

Master of National Security Policy

Hybrid

Designed for mid-career national security professionals, this hybrid degree builds analytical and communication skills while students work full-time. Classes are online, with in-person residencies on Duke’s main campus.
